Half Way There
Thursday, when I got home from work, there was one of those 'we tried to deliver something to you, but we decided it was better to inconvenience you by having come to the post office between 9 and 3 to pick it up instead' slips of paper. Luckily, I was off work on Friday. Other than waiting like a kid who ordered something out of the back of a comic book, the sender was the person who e-mailed me to tell me my Hugo was in the mail.
I was surprised it was one package. You see, I had been told it was shipped in two packages, so I knew that one package would not be the whole award. They assured me there was only one package there. I knew it was the base from the weight and the size of the package.
So, I'm still waiting to get the rocket part of my Hugo. I've been told I'm not the only one who get the two packages on different days. I was also told that it might take another week for the rocket to arrive.

I see why bribing someone to bring the rocket section to you might have been less... involved.

Well I guess it's better to get the base before the rocket then vice versa. At least you have something to put the rocket on.
