Fall Into Subscriptions

OK, my previous announcement of a subscription drive kind of got lost in the mix, so in honor of everyone getting back to school (yes, I know I'm late) we're doing a subscription drive until the end of the year.

A subscription is $20 and that gets you four issues of Electric Velocipede (prices slightly higher outside the US). The benefactor special offer is back for the next 25 21 customers (I've had a few takers already)! For $150, you get a copy of everything that I've printed/edited that's in print, as well as everything I edit/publish into the future.

In addition to going back to school, I noticed that I tied for sixth place with Banana Wings (which means I just missed making the ballot; PDF link) for Best Fanzine for this year's Hugos, and I think if I get more people reading the magazine, I can get the six to ten or so extra nominations I need to make the ballot.

The WSFS is discussing getting rid of the Semiprozine Hugo category, so I can only get on the ballot either through Best Fanzine or Best Editor Short Form (where I tied for tenth place with William Sanders).

This time the base benefactor offer includes a t-shirt based on this design (PDF link), a copy of Logorrhea, one copy each of the Ezra Pines, William Shunn, and Robert Freeman Wexler chapbooks, and copies of Electric Velocipede 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14 (all told a $75 value!). Shipping is included, even for international folks.

I offered something similar last year, and people seem well pleased by it. So don't delay and jump on this offer before it's gone!

And don't forget, if the $150 is too steep for an initial step, you can always go for a normal four-issue subscription for $20. Come see what the World Fantasy fuss is all about!

I have friends going to World Fantasy. I'll have to tell them to drop by your booth. You're going to have a booth, aren't you? Or something?

I'm not sure what I'll be doing at World Fantasy. With it being in Canada, there are extra fees etc. that need to be paid to bring product across the border to sell.

It's a tough call; I'd like to have something with me, we'll just see how easy it is to get it across the border.
