What John is failing to mention is that this photo was taken two hours after the initial slicing incident...and that he bled COPIOUSLY. So much blood was shed that we considered taking him to the emergency room. All I can say is WHEW...he can still type, so it must be better. :)
I think I have had a much similar injury. Knives do not like me very much. Mine bled for days. It was awful.
Hope it heals up soon.
Actually, this photo was taken yesterday afternoon. The two-hours after photo was too blurry for details. I should have had someone take video of the triage; that would've been cool!

What I love about this is that several of us were in the other room or outside when this actually happened -- so when we came back and John was bandaged up, we were all entirely lacking in appropriate concern and sympathy. Nice friends you have, Klima!
